If you don't hear it, please call the station and request "Gardens of Hope".   My Guitars, Altered Tunings and Custom Capos I use several guitars for recording and on stage. My acoustic guitars include a Jumbo Cutaway Heiden that I play in CFCGCD or DGDGAD tuning, a parlor guitar built by Larrivee that is in a High Strung tuning, a Martin 00028VS, and a Takamine classical guitar that is in open G or Standard tuning. There are many variations on these tunings but most are created by altered capos rather than re-tuning the guitar. For Capos I like to use Kyser products because they are easy to cut up for different combinations of tunings. The different colors help to signal what song I want to play next. If you want to know more about my open tunings and capos, sign my guestbook and I will be glad to share my secrets. As of now there isn’t any written music or tablature for my songs but if you are interested in playing one I would be happy to give you the specifics on what tuning and what capo to use. Soon I am publishing a new book on playing open tunings with altered capos. Gardens of Hope Assemblance Of Rings I'm Coming Over NCH News In 2002 Frank began volunteering his music at Naples Community Hospital one day a week. In 2005 he accepted a position performing there 5 days a week. He plays 2 hours a day for the outpatient infusion services where patients come in for chemotherapy or infusion of antibiotics and also plays 5 hours each week in the Rehab Services Gyms for patients recovering from surgeries. In addition to performing himself, he also coordinates and recruits volunteer musicians to play at NCH. If anyone would like to become involved in the Arts and Healing program there, please contact him and he will steer you in the right direction. There is always a need for instrumentalist that play guitar, piano, violin, flute, cello and many other instruments. Duo’s, Trio’s, and Quartets are welcome.
